This year, Dublin Design Festival is a 12 day festival of design, taking place right across the city. Operating as a collaborative and participative umbrella network, the festival brings together principal industry organisations along with key national and International participants. A dynamic programme of events, featuring The Future, with the future at its heart, includes exhibitions, conferences, live events and more, all celebrating and examining the many facets of design and its importance to business, culture and society.

We invite you to feed in, to contribute, to participate. We plan to build on this year’s activities, to broaden audiences and to establish a model that can be rolled out nationally with regional hubs.

We look forward to starting this conversation with you over the course of the festival.

UX Ireland 2016

This November, join the first ever UX Ireland – a 2-day practical, hands-on design conference, featuring more than 30 sessions by local and international speakers encompassing the best of User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI) Design, and User Research has to offer.

Held in the heart of Dublin, UX Ireland will be host to a range of designers from all over the world providing key insights into their fields. Catch our fantastic lineup of globally-renowned UX speakers including keynotes Jon Kolko of Blackboard and Brenda Laurel of Neogaian Interactive as well as invited speakers Benjamin Keyser of Intercom, Simona Maschi of Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design and Frank Long of Frontend.

This 3-track conference offers a variety of session types including workshops, case studies, tutorials and experience reports on a wide range of topics, including:

• augmented reality
• the future of online experiences
• design for social impact
• UX in the global marketplace and much more
